Pilcan is a travel assistance application designed to provide travelers with useful information, recommendations, offline travel information and access to an online AI assistant.
Pilcan does not require users to create a personal account to use the main features of the application.
When users interact with the online AI assistant, the text of their questions and conversation context may be transmitted to online services required to generate a response.
Technical information necessary for network communication may also be processed automatically by the operating system, hosting providers or other service providers used by the application.
Pilcan includes an online AI assistant called Smarty. Questions submitted to Smarty may be processed by external AI and cloud infrastructure used to provide responses.
Users should avoid submitting passwords, payment card information, government identification numbers or other highly sensitive personal information through the AI assistant.
Pilcan may provide an offline information package containing general travel information. Content stored locally for offline use does not require the user to submit personal information.
Pilcan may provide links that allow users to open third-party services or messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or WeChat.
When a user chooses to open or communicate through a third-party service, the privacy policy and data practices of that external service apply.
Pilcan provides informational and recommendation services related to travel, excursions, transfers, SIM and eSIM services, currency exchange and other local services.
Availability, prices, schedules and terms may change. Users should verify important information directly with the relevant provider before booking or making a purchase.
Pilcan does not sell users' personal information.
Information may be processed by technical service providers when this is necessary to operate online functionality, such as cloud hosting, network services or AI processing.
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information transmitted through Pilcan. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Pilcan is a general travel information application and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
